Things have been good around here. I’m eating plenty of watermelon and cantaloupe and Israeli melon from the farmers market. Andrew picked up the yellow guy from a vendor on the side of the road and it’s delicious. I’m systematically working through all of our possessions and getting of rid of what we no longer use or need, our record collection included. We got a little overzealous the last time the thrift store had a five-cent sale on LPs. Now we’re only keeping the ones we love, like our Perry Como record or the ragtime blues album.
I’m finishing up some home improvement and decor projects that I’ve put off until now, including framing some of the gorgeous portraits our friend Missy took of us and refinishing a piece of furniture to use in our new home. Meanwhile, the neighbor’s kitten thinks she belongs to us. I don’t think she’d appreciate the truth.
