Just a few snapshots from around the house as I tidy up and do a bit of preliminary spring cleaning. We’re expecting guests this weekend, so I’m doing my best to finish all of my half-started projects, like polishing the floors and framing some photos from trips. I’m a whirlwind of dusting cloths and grocery lists! Thankfully it’s so gorgeous outside here today that I’m looking forward to squeezing in a run in the sun later, regardless of where I am on my to-do list.
From the top: Our bedroom, with newly framed and hung photos from our great roadtrip adventure; Recycled bottles glow on my windowsill, just begging to hold a flowerbud or two; Our piano “mantle,” decorated with mementos and a bit of stolen coral from our honeymoon; slowly filling the nooks in my old letterpress drawer with — imagine! — actual letterpress stamps, found on our recent trip to Austin.
How are you making the little corners in your home special? Let me know, I’m always curious!
