It’s not every day that we’re given full license to celebrate one of Europe’s finest chocolate-hazelnut spreads, but today is that day, my friends. Happy world Nutella day to you and yours. We’re celebrating here with a batch of these salted peanut butter-Nutella thumbprint cookies.
I mixed up the recipe a little (of course) by substituting maple syrup for the sugars, and adding a little bit of vanilla protein powder to thicken things up a big. I topped the fresh cookies off with a dollop of Nutella and a sprinkling of flaky grey sea salt, and then somehow three of them made their way into my mouth. Pre-workout fuel, anyone?
