around here

1. fall is coming, this little yellow leaf told me so.

2. we harvested apples at the farm and spent the evening peeling, slicing, drinking wine and eating cheese. applesauce was the next step.

3. a nourishing snack: a peach, raw cheddar, and a slice of prosciutto.

4. lots of family birthdays to plan for a celebrate! for a grandma, a daddy, and that new husband of mine.

5. this view at home. it never gets old.

The Fayetteville Farmers Market was voted #1 in the nation!

I made this with some local rhubarb and rye flour, and it was too good.

This flannel shirt is going to take me through fall.

Planning to bake these cookies for the birthday boy — a decadent twist on a classic favorite.
